Join the Lights - 12 Films, 12 Countries to Help 12 Compassionate Organizations

3 things we love. Remarkable stories of courage and grace, the power of film, and the wonder of travel. Using these three together, Join the Lights, a creative media non-profit, will spend the next 12 months traveling to 12 countries and 12 non-profits, making films about each one. Giving them the tools of film and photography to properly share who they are, allowing them to raise more support, and thus impacting more individuals. One film has the power to impact thousands of lives, inspiring others to join in support of a remarkable organization doing incredible work.

How does your idea create a positive impact on local communities?

By connecting people who want to give, to organizations who need support, we can grow a mission through film and photography. A powerful story can truly change a persons life. Suddenly, people will be donating to remarkable causes, joining in and volunteering themselves, or starting their own mission.

Where will your project idea take place?

: Venezuela, Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Thailand, Palestine, Burma, Cambodia, Etc.

Thanks for sharing your great idea. How do you want to share your films afterwards? Would it be a youtube production? Or do you plan to produce a series of DVDs? We think your project is a gread way to spread the word about non-profits that do such a great work for our world. Your travel2change team

We hope to promote the films online, through distribution channels that we can connect with such as GOOD or other online magazines with a large audience base. Our goal is not to monetize the films in anyway but rather to get as many people to see it as possible!
